The Curriculum

Games & the Arts

Oakham offers over 30 different sports with internationally experienced coaching staff. Around 60 pupils represent their county and/or country each year. Oakham has a reputation for excellence in the Creative and Performing Arts, which are fully integrated into the curriculum.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral care lies at the heart Oakham School. The School offers a wide support network of adults, who care for all aspects of its pupils’ wellbeing. The Barraclough Dining Hall serves an extensive choice of nutritious and freshly prepared food. The School’s state-of-the-art Medical and Pastoral Centre offers a dedicated space to promote wellbeing, as well as offering medical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Leavers’ destinations include Oxbridge, Russell Group and other leading institutions.
