Papplewick U11A Team Enjoy Tournament Victory

On Thursday 6th October, the Papplewick Under 11A team competed in the ISFA Regional Under 11s football tournament.
They had a splendid day, and after topping their group with 4 wins and a draw, they battled through the knockout stages to come away with the tournament victory.
They now qualify for the national finals, which takes place at St George’s Park next summer term.
The boys are all incredibly excited, as this is where all the England national teams train and will be set for an exciting day.
Tom Bunbury, Headmaster said: ‘I think the smiles on the boys’ faces says it all and we are all incredibly proud that this Under 11A team has done so well. I wish them every success in the national finals next year.’
