The Curriculum

A broad and contemporary curriculum with specialist teachers. Teaching is modern and forward-thinking and adopts an enquiry-led approach to develop a growth mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving, creative thinking, and collaboration.

Games & the Arts

Nearby sports ground for core sport: athletics, football, hockey, netball, rounders, and tag rugby – plus swimming. Purpose-built art studio with numerous art, music and drama clubs and specialist instrumental lessons.

Pastoral Care

Our pastoral ethos is based on caring for every individual child and personalised support is the cornerstone of our approach. As a small school, our staff know all our children as individuals and we are an inclusive community where diversity is celebrated and everyone is valued. We encourage our children to be kind to others and to themselves so that they feel happy, cared for and safe.

Recent Scholarships/University Places

At 11+ to London day schools and boarding schools including academic scholarships.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

Mr Dunhill believes that children should be encouraged to be independent thinkers with the confidence to ‘have a go’ and experiment with new ideas, without any fear of getting things wrong.  There is no such thing as failure, there is only learning, and by developing personal confidence pupils will flourish.
