The Curriculum

Queenswood offers a bespoke curriculum tailored to our pupils’ interests. This is supported by our ‘Personalised Learning Centre’, which tailors our teaching to your daughter’s needs.

Games & The Arts

We are currently the No. 1 school for girl’s tennis. Our pupils can participating in a range of sports, from horse riding to hockey, and a variety of drama and music, like the inter-house dance competitions or the flute choir.

Pastoral Care

The Good Schools Guides states that, according to parents, our pastoral care is ‘phenomenal’. They also say that Queenswood parents rave about the ‘proactive approach to mental health’. The Guide also highlights our mentoring programme and the fact that the girls ‘go above and beyond to help one another’. This is all supported by our fantastic pastoral staff, like our dedicated boarding assistants and our resident full-time counsellor.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

‘This is a dynamic learning community where the girls’ interests, happiness, and wellbeing are the first consideration at all time. Our girls are at the heart of everything we do, and we know that they feel valued and enriched by the experiences they share here.’ – Mrs Jo Cameron
