The Curriculum

Bespoke, flexible curriculum, highly attuned to the individual needs of pupils. Pupils develop skills that will prepare them for life beyond Moreton and take their place in life without adjustment.

Games & The Arts

Moreton Hall is one of the top performing schools for Lacrosse and quickly becoming a national name for sport. Major productions performed yearly – CATS, Aladdin, Little Shop of Horrors are recent examples. Spoken English is a cornerstone of a Moreton education.

Pastoral Care

Moreton offers exceptional pastoral care, detailed knowledge of individual students and unlimited extra support and has created a rounded pastoral support system including regular visits from leading experts in areas such as Mindfulness and E-Safety. Pastoral support is available 24/7 and students are welcome to see any member of staff when they feel they need extra support.

University Places

Around 15 per cent to Oxbridge with Ivy League becoming more attractive.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

Moreton is a forward-looking school where we value academic success and extra-curricular achievement equally. The school is known for being small, friendly and open, not cluttered by petty rules, but with a clear set of values agreed upon and respected by all members of the school community.

Outstanding Characteristics

  • Ranked as the number one non-selective school by The Times in 2016
  • Moreton Enterprises, a unique business venture managed by the Lower 6 girls, previously achieved a turnover of £50,000.
  • Set in 100 acres of beautiful Shropshire parkland
  • The Tatler Schools Guide 2017 pronounced, ‘If you’re looking for girl power, you’ll find it at Moreton Hall.’
  • Every pupil is nurtured and encouraged to fulfil their potential – our aim, to stretch the most able and support the least confident, informs and guides all that we do.
