The Curriculum

Nursery to year 7: English and French bilingual education following the French programme with elements of the English curriculum. From year 7: students prepare for IGCSEs. EIFA is an IB World School, offering its students the opportunity to follow the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP)

Games & The Arts

Junior and senior school pupils have P.E. in nearby sports centres. Art is taught by specialist teachers from reception. Children in EYFS also have specialist ballet and yoga sessions. The school offers a variety of afterschool and homework clubs.

Pastoral Care

Our classes average around 15 pupils per class. The primary and secondary Pastoral Coordinator organises workshops on pupils’ concerns and their wellbeing.  The teaching and safeguarding teams monitor individual cases. From year 7 onwards, pupils are offered guidance in developing their own plans for higher education.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

EIFA is an independent international secular school providing a true English-French bilingual education. EIFA takes a child-centred approach to learning and encourages the linguistic diversity of its pupils. The school aims to develop responsible global citizens and promote multicultural understanding through study in at least two languages.
