Head Teacher’s Philosophy
A safe, nurturing and stimulating school, creates the right environment for learning where children retain their natural curiosity and creativity. Learning requires courage, commitment and self-belief. Children learn best when they are allowed to make mistakes, and when they are given the space and support to put those mistakes right.
The 2014 ISI inspection rated the Dragon as outstanding; and teaching and learning as ‘exceptional’. The School ethos hinges on a dynamic balance of relaxed unpretentiousness and academic discipline. It is known for its dynamic curriculum, outstanding teachers, extraordinary creative output of music, drama and art.
