The Curriculum

We have a long and proud tradition of academic excellence reflecting our commitment to providing a wide-ranging GCSE and A-level curriculum, small classes, challenging girls to raise their expectations, widen their horizons and aim high.

Games & the Arts

With extensive enrichment opportunities on offer there is a strong creative theme that runs throughout the school.  Every pupil has a chance to shine, be it creatively or in sport.

Pastoral Care

The welfare of our pupils is of paramount importance and we take pride in our pastoral system and welfare provision, which is highly rated by parents and girls.  The small tutor groups are under the guidance of teachers who promote self-esteem and motivation. Our staff know each girl individually and recognise the contribution she makes.  We are committed to promoting and protecting positive emotional wellbeing and mental health. The most important thing is that the girls here know they always have someone to talk to.

University Places

Our Sixth Form go onto top Universities, in the UK and Overseas

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

We understand our pupils inside and out and are dedicated to providing an all-round education that brings out the best in each and every pupil – intellectually, creatively, physically and morally.  Our size is our greatest strength in this respect. The skills of resilience, communication, understanding and teamwork we develop will be of even greater importance in an ever-changing workplace.

Outstanding Characteristics
